Greenline provides tech-enabled landscaping for apartments, HOAs, and commercial communities. This policy explains what we collect through our website and our mobile and web apps, why we collect it, and the control you have over it. It applies to residents, property managers, and vendor crews alike.
Information we collect
We collect only what the service needs to run. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising in our apps.
- Account and contact information
- Your name, email address, and mobile phone number. We sign you in with a one-time code sent to your email or phone, so we never store a password for your account.
- Service address and property access details
- The address (and unit, where applicable) we service, plus any gate code or access instructions you choose to save so the crew can reach your property.
- Payment information
- Card payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives your card details directly — we never see or store your full card number. We retain only Stripe’s customer and subscription identifiers plus the card brand and last four digits so you can recognize the card on file.
- Location (vendor crews)
- With your permission, the app uses your device’s location while the app is open to help crews navigate to job sites and to confirm arrival on site. We do not track location in the background, and residents are never located by the app.
- Service photos
- Crews photograph completed work as proof of service. Photos may include the capture time recorded by the camera. Yard photos are visible to that resident, the property’s manager, and Greenline staff; common-area photos are visible to residents of that community.
- Service records and messages
- Your plan, visit history, ratings, and any issues or requests you submit, including the text and photos you attach to them.
- Device and diagnostic information
- Basic technical data such as device type, app version, and error logs, used to keep the apps working. If you enable push notifications, we store the notification token your device issues so we can deliver them.
How we use information
- To schedule, deliver, and document landscaping service.
- To sign you in, keep your session secure, and show you the right app for your role.
- To bill your plan and process changes, pauses, and refunds through Stripe.
- To notify you about upcoming visits, completed visits, and issue updates — by email and, if you allow it, push notification.
- To respond to your requests and resolve problems with your service.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and to enforce our terms.
Push notifications
If you allow notifications, we send them for things that concern your property — most commonly that a service visit has been completed, so you can open the visit and see the crew’s photos. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings, or per-category in the app under Account → Notifications.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only with the parties below, and only as far as the service requires.
- Your property manager or HOA — where Greenline is engaged by the community, managers see service records, visit photos, and issues for the properties they manage.
- Vendor crews — the crew assigned to your property sees the service address, access instructions, and the work to be done.
- Service providers — Stripe (payments), our email delivery provider, our cloud hosting and storage providers, and Apple and Google for push notification delivery. Each is bound to use the information only to provide their service to us.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Greenline, our customers, or the public.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Tracking and analytics
Our apps contain no advertising SDKs and no cross-app tracking. We do not ask for permission to track you across other companies’ apps or websites, because we do not do it.
Our public marketing website uses the Meta pixel to measure the performance of our advertising. You can opt out through your browser settings or your Meta ad preferences.
Your choices and rights
- Access and correction — view and edit your name, contact details, address, access instructions, and payment method in the app under Account.
- Notifications — choose which emails and push notifications you receive under Account → Notifications, or turn them off in your device settings.
- Location — location permission is optional and can be revoked at any time in your device settings; the app continues to work without it.
- Deactivate your account — you can close your account from inside the app under Account → Deactivate account. See the next section for what happens to your data.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or port your information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within the time your law allows.
Account deactivation, deletion, and retention
Deactivating your account from inside the app takes effect immediately: you are signed out, your recurring billing is stopped, and no one can sign in to the account again.
Your records are then retained for up to 30 days so we can complete final billing, resolve any open disputes, and reverse the deactivation if you tell us it was a mistake. After that period we delete or irreversibly anonymize your personal information. We keep only what we are legally required to keep — principally transaction records needed for tax and accounting, which are retained for as long as the law requires and are not used for any other purpose.
To have your information deleted sooner, or to ask what we hold about you, email sales@getgreenlinelawn.com.
Security
Information is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access limited to the people and systems that need it. Sign-in uses single-use codes that expire, and sessions are limited in duration. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep this one worthy of the trust you place in it.
Children
Greenline is a service for property owners, residents, managers, and crews. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Greenline after a change means you accept the updated policy.
